One Day At A Time

Wednesday I came home from school
Did my homework in my room
then I watched some TV
I still miss you
Thursday morning went online
Got to school at half past nine
Wound up in detention
I still miss you

Everything I do
its brings me back to you
And I die
One day at a time
cause i just cant seem to get you off my mind
No matter how I try
try to kill the time
Well i think that i'm just going crazy
one day at a time
Friday I got  out of bed
Tried to smile frowned instead
Burnt some toast for breakfast
I still miss you
Saturday i turned 19
Never dreamt you'd act so mean
You didn't even call me
But I still miss you.

I barat punguk temui bulannya. Berempat berjalan seiringan menuju ke depan. Sesekali menoleh ke belakang kemudian kembali ketawa.
" malam ni nak makan kueteaw kungfu''.
'' selalu pun ko order kueteaw kungfu la''.
Gelak ketawa kembali mengetup gegendang telinga. Seperti mana melayan teman-temannya.
''Jomlah melintas sekarang, kereta dah tak ada''.
Cepat-cepat mencapai tangan salah seorang temannya. Dia tidak berani melintas jalan.Bukan tidak berani cuma berhati-hati.

Laziness is a good thing

I get correspondence all the time asking me for a cure for laziness. That’s like asking me for a cure for beauty. Or a cure for wealth. If someone is lucky enough to be blessed with the gift of laziness, he or she should definitely enjoy it and exploit it. It is a quality to be coddled, nurtured, and developed. If correctly utilized, laziness is a one way ticket to great success.
In my world view, there are two kinds of laziness – both Heaven-sent. The first kind of laziness is pure, simple, and wholesome. It is the exalted impulse to avoid work. Clearly, avoiding work is a laudable goal in its own right. With this basic form of laziness, shirking all work is its own glorious reward. Nothing more needs to be accomplished. Hammocks and shade trees were designed by God for just this lofty purpose.
The second kind elevates basic laziness to an even higher level, if you can believe such a thing could be possible. With this type of laziness, work is still avoided at all costs. However, by skillfully avoiding work, even to the ultimate degree of doing nothing at all, one still accomplishes everything he or she wants. Now this is the supreme form of laziness. Doing nothing yet accomplishing everything.
Those proficient in this sophisticated form of laziness are responsible for most advances in society. These are the people who know that when something needs to be accomplished, there is always a way that not only involves much less work but is also cheaper, safer, faster, more fun, more lucrative, and more effective. And these heroically lazy folks find that way.
It is crucial to understand this next point: You will rarely find those magical lazy ways if you are hard at work. These super-charged lazy ways are only revealed to those who take the time to rejoice in laziness.
Sadly, some work-indoctrinated readers will refuse to see any validity in this concept. They will frantically wave their hands while ranting about the necessity of hard work and how vital it is to suffer in order to achieve anything. They will incessantly use the phrase “bust your butt” and they may even invoke images of garbage men and single mom waitresses to prove how important hard work, joylessness, and sacrifice are for the advancement of mankind. Yet, upon further review, in nearly every case, these staunch defenders of hard work will have negligible success to point to as a result of their own toil.
Alas, I know I will not be able to convince these folks that they are betting on the wrong horse. But someone has to stand up and speak the truth and hopefully some people will hear it. So here goes:
  • Laziness is great. Hard work is a fraud.
  • Laziness is incandescently fabulous. Hard work is unnecessary, counter-productive, a waste of time, unhealthy, unpleasant, boring, mind-numbing, anti-evolutionary, ignorant, uncreative, inefficient, and ineffective among many other traits too hideous to mention.
  • Laziness opens the door to great success. The only thing that hard work is good for is perpetuating poverty.
If you want to be successful, you have to find a way to accomplish more by doing less. Start by buying a hammock. Then use it to locate your competitive edge.

keindahan sepohon pokok

Ciptaan Allah  amatlah hebat. Semasa dalam perjalananku dari Kuala Nerang  ke Alor Setar, aku melebarkan pandangan ke luar jendela. Aku melihat pokok dan tumbuh-tumbuhan lantas aku terfikir ;

" Apakah yang istimewanya pokok ini? "

Aku kagum apabila memikirkan keindahan ciptaan Allah. Aku kagum apabila berfikir tentang pokok.
" Tetapi manusia? "

" Sanggupkah kita berbuat  demikian? "

Tabahnya pokok walaupun keseorangan namun tetap meneruskan hidupnya.

Ingin ku tabah seperti sepohon pokok,
Ingin ku contohi sifat sepohon pokok,
Yang tidak menyimpan dendam dan benci,
Ingin ku balas kekejaman dengan kebaikan,
Tetapi mampukah aku untuk berbuat demikian.
Hatiku tidaklah setabah sepohon pokok,
Hatiku tidaklah semurni sepohon pokok,
Hatiku tidaklah seindah budi pekerti sepohon pokok.

Ampunilah dosa kami,
 Kedua ibu bapa kami,
Dan kaum muslimin sekalian,
Berkatilah kami.
Bukakanlah pintu hati kami ke jalan-Mu,
Ke jalan yang Engkau redhai,
Tetapkanlah hati kami,
Dengan kalam-Mu Al-Quran dan sunnah Rasul-Mu,
Kami bermohon padaMu,
Hanya Engkaulah tempat kami meminta dan mengadu.
Amin.

Hidup kita hanya satu jam

Nisbah Hari Dunia : Hari Akhirat

Firman Allah,

Hidup
kita di dunia ini tidak lama. Cuba kita hitung nisbah hari dunia dan akhirat,

1 hari akhirat = 1000 tahun dunia mengikut perkiraan
kita

Satu
tahun di dunia biasa 365 hari. Cuba kita darabkan. 1000 x 365 = 365000 hari

Bermakna
satu hari akhirat = 365000 hari dunia

Cuba

(Surah Ali Imran ayat 185
)

Saya menyambung penceritaan.

You hold the key of success

Sunnatullah Kejayaan

Takut-takut hidayah ditarik balik,

(Surah asy Syu’ara’; ayat 214)

Perit sahabatku, siksa sahabatku , sakit duhai sahabatku.

Suatu hari aku berjaya dibebaskan oleh seseorang,

Aku keluar pergi berjumpa dengan ustaz tadi,

Lantas ku tanyakan satu soalan,

Patukah aku tinggalkan keluargaku?

Lantas ustaz tersebut menyarankanku supaya terus bersama keluargaku,

Aku disuruh masak berasingan tetapi makan semeja dengan mereka,

Sekali lagi aku diuji, apabila aku tiba dimeja makan,

ku hadiahkan kuntuman senyuman,

Pilu hatiku, jijikkah mereka melihatku?

Ku lalui kehidupan penuh penderitaan ini selama dua tahun,

Selama dua tahun jua aku menderita,

 Tanpa kasih sayang keluarga,

Layanan keluarga amat menyedihkan, hati ini pedih bagai dirobek-robek,

Tatkala diri memandang wajah tua ayah bonda,

 Kerinduan mencucuk bagai sembilu tajam,

Hanya sabar yang mampu ku lakukan,

Syukurlah mereka masih menerimaku tinggal disini,

Mujur Allah sentiasa disisi, dan ustaz selalu menasihati,

Lalu kugagahkan diri,

Dalam bulan ramadhan juga,

Barlaku suatu peristiwa, di mana bapaku,

yang berusia 80 tahun bakal dijemput Ilahi,

Adat keluargaku, bila seseorang sedang nazak,

 dia bakal ditinggalkan,

Tetapi aku sebagai seorang Muslim, sebagai anak,

Mana mungkin tergamak hatiku melihat

Bapaku menghadapi sakaratul maut seorang diri,

Aku menunggu dan terus menunggu,

Setiap kali bapaku menggerakkan tubuhnya,

Kubisikkan kalimah  “lailahaillallah”,

Tatkala nyawanya hampir tercabut dari jasadnya,

Dapat kulihat bapaku mengangguk,

dengan anggukan itu maka keluarlah rohnya,

Luluh hatiku melihat jenazah bapaku,

 Tiada lagi insan bernama bapa,

Jadi jasadnya dikebumikan mengikut adat keluargaku.

Aku terpaksa mengikut adat keluargaku jika aku ingin melihat jenazah bapaku,

Iaitu dengan memakai pakaian serba hitam,

Banyak orang Islam mengutuk ku habis habisan,

Kerana ku berpakaian sedemikian,

Kerana aku memeluk Islam,

Aku buntu kerana dikutuk oleh dua belah pihak,

Aku kuatkan semangat demi Islam,

Sampai dikuburan, bapa aku dikebumikan,

Lama kutenung wajah tua ibuku, sungguh aku rindukan ibu,

Kuhentikan lamunan tersebut,

Lantas ku khabarkan yang sebenarnya kepada bonda,

“Ibu sebelum bapa pergi, saya telah bisikkan kalimah lailahaillallah

Saya yakin bapa mati dalam Islam, ibu “

Dengan senyum yang penuh kegembiraan,

Ibuku luahkan hasrat ingin mengikuti ayahku,

Dengan hidayah Allah, ibuku juga Islam,

Beliau memelukku dengan penuh kasih sayang,

Allah, itulah pelukan yang kurindu,

Dua tahun ku nantikan pelukkan itu,

Seluruh keluargaku memeluk Islam,

 Aku bahagia, aku sangat bersyukur,

Bebas menganut agama Islam,

Tidak dihina, disiksa jika menganut Islam,

 Pernahkah anda bersyukur? Cuba renungkan.

"UFO" over China (video)

OMG! UFO! Or Maybe Not.

834 Votes
Last week, the Web was aflutter over rumors that a UFO had been spotted over Xiaoshan Airport in Hangzhou, China. There was even video that showed, well, something, soaring high in the sky.
The Atlantic reports that Geoffrey Forden, a weapons expert from MIT, has analyzed several of the alleged UFO videos. He has come to the conclusion that a) what people saw in one of the videos wasn't a UFO, but a rocket, and b) the same video wasn't taken anywhere near China. It was shot near Kazakhstan.
CNN explains how "Forden used scientific theories to examine the images of the flying object that he felt were not created with Photoshop." Then, on a blog, Forden wrote: "It seems to me that a DF-21 [missile] launch somewhere near Jiuquan and aimed at a point somewhere in the eastern Gobi desert is the most likely cause of this 'UFO.'"
Here's where it gets a little tricky. As mentioned, there are actually several "UFO over China" videos floating around on the Web. Some appear to have been altered with photo-editing software, while some were not.
One of the videos making the rounds on the Web may have really been taken at the airport on the night in question. But (there's always a but), those photos are likely of a missile. The Atlantic writes that "the likeliest scenario, it turns out, is that the Great Twinkling Light of Hangzhou was actually a Chinese ballistic missile, the DF-21."
In other words, don't go calling the Men in Black just yet.

My Heart 2 Heart Diaries

Hi! And welcome to DiaryGirl.
We're glad you came...

If you've got a ♥ to ♥ Diary, congratulations! We hope you're having fun filling up the pages and then hiding it away under lock and key. Today is a great day for writing, doodling coloring, drawing, pasting pictures, sticking stickers, and making the pages of your diary into your very own keepsake. It's a lot of fun being totally creative, isn't it?!
If you haven't gotten your hands on one of our ♥ to ♥ Diaries yet, we invite you to try one. We currently have both our Keyhole Diary and our Blue Dog Diary in stock! You can find them at your school's Scholastic Book Fair, at your local Barnes & Noble Bookstore, or order one directly from us right online at our new Fine Print Bookstore!

Diary Keeping Fun!

Each one of our diaries has hand-drawn art on each page. Every page is a one of a kind and ready and waiting for your imagination. Decorate it however U want!
Just remember that even tough the pages of your book are pretty thick, really dark markers can still show through on the other side of the page. Colored pencils work great and you can get just the right color by mixing them right on the page. If you paste a favorite picture on one of the pages or if you're a big fan of ink and stamping, you should let the page dry really well before closing your book and locking it away.

Moisturize & Exfoliate Your Skin Amazing Articles
SkinHere we show you tips on how to properly care for your skin, from the right way to wash your face, to the best moisturizers and UV protection.
Before we start with the proper daily 3-step skincare routine, you'll need to know your skin type. How you care for your skin is utterly dependent on the type of skin you have: oily, normal/combination, dry, sensitive or sun- damaged. Check out this article to figure out what skin type you have.

The Basic 3-Step Skincare Regimen

Step 1: Cleansing Simple is key here. You need to find a good cleanser that your skin responds well to, and stick with it. (I list the best cleansers for skin types in this article ).
Avoid bar soaps as they tend to dry out the skin. According to Rona Berg, in her book, 'Beauty,' a French cosmetics executive once told her 'soap should only ever touch your skin from the neck down.' We agree. According to Berg, most cleansers contain oil water and 'surfactants'. The oil dissolves oil on your face, surfactants dissolve dirt and makeup and the water washes it all away. Who knew? The secret is finding the right mix of oil. (Makes sense to us). Too much on your skin will clog pores, while too little will dry it out. This is why you need to know your skin type.
Be careful not to cleanse too often. Washing at night should do you. While some skincare experts swear you should cleanse skin with creamy cleansers that you wipe off with a tissue, never letting water touch your skin (some hard waters are especially hard on skin), we prefer the water method. In the morning, a splash of lukewarm water is all you need (we find it's great for removing excess oils from your nightly moisturizing). Never wash your face with hot or cold water (both can cause broken capillaries). Also be careful about over cleansing skin.
Here's the best way to wash your face: Use warm water to loosen dirt and clogged pores. Use a dime-sized bit of cleanser, then rinse with cool or lukewarm water. You'll also want to take off your makeup with a proper makeup remover.

Step 2: Exfoliate Exfoliation is the step most people skip in their weekly skincare routine. But trust me, if you start properly exfoliating your skin, you will notice an almost immediate difference. According to Berg, one of the reasons men's skin looks more youthful than women's is because men tend to exfoliate daily when they shave. There are several ways to exfoliate skin: Micro dermabrasion, chemical peels and retinoid.

Scrubs work by removing the top layer of dead skin cells that tend to dull your complexion. We find exfoliating skin once a week with a microdermabrasion kit keeps skin glowing year-round. Make sure you use a gentle scrub with tiny grains. Big grains in cheap scrubs can tear skin and cause more harm than good. My favorite microdermabrasion kit is made by Lancôme.

In the hour it takes to get a chemical peel, you can take off five years from your face. Can't afford the price tag for a monthly peel? Try some over-the-counter peels that work over the course of a month. I prefer MD Skincare's.

Retinoid (such as Retin-A) also work by removing the top layer of dead skin cells while also generating collagen in the skin. "Collagen is the skin's structural fiber," dermatologist Dennis Gross said in the October 2005 issue of O Magazine. "As we get older, it breaks down, creating lines and large pores." Skincare experts disagree on all sorts of things, but most of them consider retinoids to be a miracle skin saver.

Should you use a toner? Some people swear by toners, but many beauty experts do not (I once read a skincare expert claim, 'toners are only for copy machines'). Toners are meant to remove all remaining traces of oil, makeup and dirt, but a good cleanser should do this. I firmly believe it's up to you. If you like the way your skin feels with a toner. Buy it. Use it. Enjoy it.

Step 3: Moisturize While I know of at least one famous beauty editor who swore skin doesn't need moisturizer, basically everyone else I've read disagrees and is an adamant believer in it. A basic law of beauty is that everyone, no matter her skin type, should moisturize. Even if your skin is oily, it will benefit from moisturizers. (The only exception is those with acne). Why? Moisturizers seal moisture into skin (Berg calls this the 'Saran Wrap effect'). So how much should you moisturize? Your skin will tell you. When your skin is tight, it's crying out for moisture. Be careful not to over moisturize -- this can cause clogged pores. For the skinny on great moisturizers for your skin type, check out this article.
Are eye creams necessary? Well maybe. Some beauty experts strongly recommend eye creams. Why? The skin around the eye contains no fatty tissue and is therefore very thin and susceptible to wrinkles. Special eye creams are formulated to 'thicken' this area and keep it sturdy. Yet other experts (including the beauty editors of Allure in their new book) claim your daily lotion works around the eyes just as well.

Step 4: Apply sunscreen 'O' magazine ran an article in November 2006 featuring interviews with several top skin care experts and dermatologists (check it out here ). Every single one of them said sunscreen was the most important part of your skincare regimen.
It was the secret they would pass on to their daughters.

The number 1 cause of wrinkles is sun damage, so it's important to use sunscreen from your early years on even in winter and on cloudy days. A great trick is to purchase two moisturizers: one for night and one for day that includes UV protection. Don't use moisturizers with sunscreen at night, the ingredients are not meant to be used 27/7 and can aggravate skin. When choosing a sunscreen, make sure it contains 1 of 3 ingredients as an 'active ingredient': titanium dioxide, zinc oxide or Parasol 1789 (avobenzene).
